Can you say "steal"?
I went Wednesday to buy myself a birthday present. Found a 1985 GMC Jimmy that is sitting on 1 ton suspension (4:56 with detroit lockers front and rear) with 11" lift , 4 wheel disc brakes, running on propane, sitting on 17" pro comp wheels wrapped in almost brand new (less than 50 miles he claims) 39.5" Iroks, with nice Mile Marker winch (he said 9000 lbs)......price? well lets just say I almost feel like a haha. $2200 is what I ended up giving for it and he left about $200-300 worth of tools in the back (and yes he knew they were there).

Re: Can you say "steal"?
Its supposed to be a 350 but I have not crawled over the engine bay to get the numbers from the block yet. Daytime pics do not look near as good as night time pics. The truck is rougher than the pics show which was one of the main reasons I gave for talking him down some. Passenger side front fender is a bit loose (Was wondering if it would make it home on the trailer without falling off) I will get some daytime pics and post updates as changes are made.
I have a few odds and ends to get it running the way I want. Propane system needs some work, need to lose the body lift and just generally start getting it trail ready. I plan to have the interior sprayed with gator hyde and have a cage built that extends back to cover any passengers who might dare to ride in the back.

Re: Can you say "steal"?
Man I need to run into town tomorrow and see if our local Bealls has one in stock . That is a nice ride for that price . The suspension and rolling stock would cost that much . Nice purchase .
