Re: Gas Tank
Im sure lots of pepole do this to but I put a Blazzer tank in mine. I was lucky and found the filler neck and the shield for it at a junk yard. I did not want to drill a big hole in the bed so I turned the filler neck 180 degrees and drilled the hole in the sheild. Worked very nice and looks factory.
Don't have a picture, but will get one if interested.

The sheild? I guess I don't know what that is I'd like to see pics because from what I understand that's what I might do.

Re: Gas Tank
Here are a few. I forgot I had piled a big load of Shizzle in the back getting ready for the huricane last week.
Anyway the black part is the shield and you can see the filler neck and fuel cap sticking though it. It would normally go though the bed. I seem to remember seeing repops of these parts a couple years ago so they are most likely still available.

Re: Gas Tank
I had this custom built.. will have a trap door in the wood floor to fill. I tried the poly tank and didn't like the fit... There are a lot of posts on this topic if you search the board...
big question is what do you want to spend and how nice do you want it to look?

Re: Gas Tank
Cheapest way is a summit fuel cell with sending unit. They just don't hang well from what i've heard. You can bolt them down inside the bed.
Most aluminum one's like mine run $400 and up.

Re: Gas Tank
I bought mine from Brothers (site vendor) for $240 with sending unit and mounting hardware. Fits right where the spare tire was. The filler neck I got from a wrecking yard for $10 from a 97 pickup
