Help! I need some new wheels!
I've been looking to buy some new wheels for some time now, but I can't seem to find anything I really like. I really like the looks of 5 spoke wheels. I will not be using anything bigger than 17". My truck is lowered 4/6". Here is a pic of my truck as it sits right now. I will probably be lowering it another 1-2" in the near future. Anybody have a suggestion for a new set of wheels?

Re: Help! I need some new wheels!
The problem is that the wheels have to please you . Search the internet , ebay etc and look for pics of wheels you like . If something appeals to you , go for it , even if no one else is running them . That would even be a plus . I like the 5 spokes also . I will tell you that the 18's I had on my tan truck looked good to me . I have a set of Coddington Smoothie 2's I am going to install on the Black truck in the next couple weeks , hopefully . One thing I have found is that the 17 inch tires are a little more expensive that the 18's it seems . My truck wont be as low as yours so I am going with a 17x10 rear with 4.5 bs and a 17x8 front with a 4.75 bs .I will run the same size tires I had on the tan truck except in 17 inch . I will use 255/55/17 and 275/60/17 Goodyear RS A's since that is the only tire I can find with matching tread in those sizes. The tires are a bit pricey . I would research it well and have it all lined up before purchasing . I also like the Coys C5 in the 18 inch . You might look at their website since they are pretty reasonably in price and the look is great .

I like the 5 spoke look also thinking of the TT2's or the Coys, had the truck photoshop'd, try your truck and see what comes up

Re: Help! I need some new wheels!
The TT 2´s in 18" or 18/20" would look great on your truck but here in Germany you might get in trouble with aluminum rims that have no papers about weightcapacity. You won´t pass the inspection for the registration because of the stupid laws here!

Re: Help! I need some new wheels!
As Frank mentioned take a look at the price of tires. I have found that 18's are usually cheaper than 17's and are available in more sizes.
Post some pics of wheels you like and let us talk you out of them...
