Coil Springs question?????
Ya'll told me that i can only go with 2 inch drop coils or it will be messed up. Is this 2 in.coils all the way around or 2 in. in the front and something like a 4 in. in the back to level it out. Thanks for any info you can give.

2 inch in the front, you dont have to worry about the geometry in the back, can run all the way up to a six inch drop spring, anything over 4, you may need to notch the frame, and get an adjustable panhard bar and shock relocators

Cody, my 2 cents:
Buy the drop spindles! My truck was origninally lowered using just springs and the camber on the truck was terrrible. They never could get the truck close. It had more schims in it than little pigs house made of sticks!! You have to convert to disc brakes, but other than more cost it is well worth it. As for the back. You can simply block the rearend. Have some steel blocks cut at the desired width and get some longer u-bolts. It is an easy and inexpensive way to lower the rearend with no loss of performance. Again, shortened springs would be best. Good luck ------------------ 2001 GMC 2500HD Crew Cab Duramax, Allison, 4WD, Love it 1971 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 2WD Short/Step Side. 2-4 WILL BE LEVEL, Almost all chevy trucks come from the factory with a 2" rake.
