Bed Rail Fit?
I saw a local Craigslist ad for a pair of bed rails, new, SB, for $40. They are a black diamond plate (which I want) but were purchased for a 1999 Silverado.
The thing is, I'm not sure if they will fit my 1974 and I can't place in my head if the Silverado 1500 fenders are wider, narrower, or the same size. Same with the tailgate. Any help is appreciated!

Re: Bed Rail Fit?
i dont think they will fit but you could go to pep boys or one of those kind of stores and see if the part numbers for the two trucks are similar

Re: Bed Rail Fit?
I went and took a look at them today. The width is the same, but the later year trucks are about an inch and 1/4 longer than the 73-87. So I cut a piece off where the bed meets the cab, and whacked the curve by the tailgate in line, and I'm good to go.
