New Bushings...greasable or not

I'm going to install new bushings in all my springs and shackle mounts and was wondering what you all think. Is it worth it to go with greasable bushings or will using the standard poly bushings do just fine? My build is going towards a really nice cruiser with some light to moderate wheeling at times. I am going with the DIY4X shackle flip to get rid of my 4" lift blocks and the EZinch for an extra bit of lift to eliminate the saggy butt look. I don't think the greasable bushings are necessary for my build, but since I'm going that far with the shackle flip...?

What cost difference are you looking at? I have used ORD's greasable bushings on all the bushings on my 69 K20 and I used them up front on my 70 K5. I don't have anyway to compare if they make a difference as both times I was was replacing worn out rubber bushings. I don't get any bushing noise.

I will have to call to get the exact prices, but it looks like it would be around $120-$150 (maybe more) for greasables and around $50-$60 for the standards.

Bushings with grease-able bolts are more of a long term pay off, not having your stuff seize over time.

They will however plug up, I've had a couple that took a lot of persuasion to take grease.

Worth the investment IMO.

If you do go without the first time around just be careful to pay close attention to the bolt torque, a tight bushing bolt or three will make her ride damn stiff.
