Primer
How do I decide which primer to use? I have been considering ordering the brand pictured off of Ebay. I will be working on small sections of my truck at a time stripping down to metal to determine the extent of all work that needs to be done and want to coat everything with primer as the project moves along.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=220274543084 Why would I use one type of primer over another? I just have a cheap air gun I picked up at a garage sale and I figure it is time I do some bodywork for myself. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Primer
If you are going to strip panels down to bare steel- you'll want to spray on a decent Epoxy Primer after you've done any weld repairs, but before you apply any body filler. Personally, I use Kustom Shop Epoxy- it sprays well and is reasonably priced.
