Have any of you guys used any products from http://www.ezwiring.com/ ? They seem to be very reasonable for their wiring harnesses, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Sorry, haven't heard much about them. I helped a buddy install a Painless kit in his 72. A few other people on the board have used that same kit with success.

I replaced all my under hood harness with M&H product and it was a perfect mach.

Hey ProSt68Trk,
Did you use the new colored harness or did you get one of the all black ones? I think it would be a nightmare if all of the wires were the same color. Also how well did it mount since our trucks use a bulkhead connector?

I got the all black one. The wires are very well marked every 6 inches or so and I liked the clean look of the all black wires. My application was a totally new install and I wasn't re-using any of the old connections, so for me if was a breeze to install. I have a pic or two on my site.

I got the under dash harness for my truck from the Truck Stop. Haven't installed it yet, but it looks identical to the original.

Does the EZ harness look well put together, how about the fuse block? I really did like the idea of the all black one, but I wasn't sure of the quality of the unit itself.

From what I can tell its as good if not better than the next fuse panel - All blade type fuses and such. It looks like a chevy type fuse block. I was mainly concerned about whether or not there would be long enough wires for the truck - there was plenty! Also they sent me a sample piece of wire before I bought my kit and told me to burn it. I almost couldn't - very high temp wires.

I didn't state that very well, what I meant was I didn't use the original bulkhead connector. The kit just comes with a couple of connectors installed (column and light switch) but mostly just coiled wire. You will need to spice into some of the original connectors and wires, like for the lights (front/rear), gauges and such. Everything else I just used female spade or ring connectors - these were supplied with the kit along with tie-wraps and wire wrap. I'll also add that I've called them back for question a few times and they've always been real helpful.
