Trade Dropped Spindles for Stock ?????/
I'm not sure if I can ask this in a forum...but would anyone like to trade their 1972 disk brake stock spindles for my disk 2 Inch ? They are still on the truck and are from Early Classic. Truck is to low to take my son camping...Thanks.

Re: Trade Dropped Spindles for Stock ?????/
I would be interested!
My truck is a driver, so not sure how this would work? Is yours being driven now? I'm getting married next weekend and will be gone until Oct. 5th for the honeymoon. My spindles are off of a 71 (disk brake spindles, same as a 72) and are in very good condition.

I'm don't know about the rules for trades like this, but if it is allowed you won't have any trouble getting somebody to take you up on that one. You ought to just go ahead and pay the $25 bucks. Lots of good info here. Tom

Re: Trade Dropped Spindles for Stock ?????/
If the truck is too low,... why not just change out the front springs?

Re: Trade Dropped Spindles for Stock ?????/
Spindles would actually be a little easier and wouldn't require the truck be realinged, just check to make sure the toe is still correct. I dropped my s-10 with spindles and only had to adjust the tie rods a couple turns to get everything back square. Not sure if you even need to do this with ECE stuff?

If the truck is the one in his avatar,... Then I would say it has dropped spindles AND dropped/cut springs.

Re: Trade Dropped Spindles for Stock ?????/
Hey Killer, what all from a disc break assembly do you have? I'd be interested in buying some of it off of you if you're interested in selling and the deal with this guy falls through, or does not get to you. Send me a PM and let me know please.
Thanks, Dylan
