Re: Question on C notch height??

the c notch is a "one size fits all" type thing ... it will give you about 2.5" - 3" more clearance

The bolt-in style c-notch is like what Shane describes. KP sells a weld-in 'step notch' kit which is actually deep enough to allow the frame rails to be planted on the ground.

Which are you seeking info about?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: Question on C notch height??

The 8 piece step notch kit comes unweled thus the "8 piece" description and will work with 22" wheels and tires. The notch give you a true 9 inches of axle clearance when installed at full depth. You can trim the notch to be shorter if you don't want, or need, that much of a drop.

Yep. Those are the KPC 8pc Step Notch pieces & the height can be adjusted to be shorter if the full depth isn't needed.
