Post purists beware...

i actually dont like 67-72s body dropped this low, i like em laying frame but once your cuttin off rocker and tucking more than half of your 20"s i think its a bit too low. nevertheless, the work done on this truck is just awesome. i wish i could do stuff like this...

Poor truck?!?! Sweet truck! That chevy will seat more babes than most. Very nice work. That interior is very cool. Definitely a sunny day ride though...Check out the front pan/air dam - very trick.

Some vehicles are rolling pieces of art made from poor truck parts that someone scrapped out then had to get rid of.........

Yea I don't understand why the purist always get thier panties in a bunch. We dont know anything about this truck. It could have started as a rusted non optioned cab that he saved from the crusher. I THINK THE TRUCK KICKS A$$, and I would be proud to pimp that thing down the road, hell even in primer I bet people snap their necks tring to catch another look.

Even if you are a stock only fan(which i am not), you have to admit, the craftsmanship looks top notch.

While I do lean twards the stock apearance of these trucks, I can apreciate the work and quality of said work on this truck.
I have yet to find that line that is too stock, or too radicle.
I just know when I see it.

Just doesnt look right to me. Yea, I'll turn my head when I see it allright. Loud rap music coming out of a dropped ricer makes me turn my head too. Matter of fact an 800 pound butt ugly woman would make me turn my head and look. Starting to get the idea? I'll give whoever worked on it the props though. Like it or not somebody put some time into it.

I'll offer to save that poor truck, if it needs a place to stay I'll start cleaning out the garage to make room. hehe.... I think he was just looking for a way around shaving the drip rails and chopping the top. Nice solution!

That's one sweet looking ride, and that's high-grade work...

My personal preferences, though, are pretty much set by two rules.
1. Keep it as a daily driver; what's the point of a trailer queen?
2. IT'S A TRUCK. At least make sure you can carry a good load in the bed!

IMO, you can still go pretty dang far with the above.

the owner of that truck came on the board a few months ago and posted pics.
He didn't receive such a warm welcome....that may be why he never came back.

BTW...I think the truck looks great.
Its automotive art/self-expression at its best.

The truck is trick as hell! I sometimes too feel like an "outcast" for my love of custom vehicles? I have turned wrenches for toooo many yrs,& IMO ,I havent seen anything that the engineers have designed that was "letter perfect"........if the engineers had to work on these vehicles, you can bet there would be some changes! Maybe it has to do with imagination(to much of it),But the run of the mill everyday repairs bore the snot out of this old man. Hottrodding/streetrodding,truckin,lead sleads........now thats something, everybody puttin their own thoughts & personal tastes in to a vehicle. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT! after all, we are all individuals........69 longhorn, all done rantin
