Re: WTB- 67-8 Top Grill Moulding
Thanks, I think I prefer aluminum though.
Might even want both... the ding in the bottom one doesn't make me happy. Last edited by FormerMember; 11-18-2008 at 11:26 AM. |

I am interested in something usable. So yours would be perfect, I think. I could also do some metal work, depending on damage. |

Re: WTB- 67-8 Top Grill Moulding
Grendel, are you not going to re-subscribe? Good luck finding your parts, they are hard to come across original. I don't know how well the re-pops fit, but they are sometimes cheaper than a set of decent used ones. Not to mention the last time I bought a set and had them shipped from a very nice board member, they were destroyed when I got them. It wasn't the members fault. He did the best packaging/protecting job I had ever seen. The postal service just decided it would be better to rip the top 8" of the package completely off, and of course that actually tore the metal on the peices. Then they fought me over the insurance and whether or not it was really their fault. Good luck!!

A trick I learned was to ship trim pieces in PVC pipe

Re: WTB- 67-8 Top Grill Moulding
Come on Grendel!! (Insert Peer pressure here). I'm sure you know how I feel about things going on and ammendment rights, etc. But you and I both know that this is Josh's baby and he doesn't want any conflict getting started. I myself have had my hand slapped a couple of times, and if you are anywhere near as passionate as I am about issues (and I suspect you are) then you know we can probably stir up some conflict just by posting our feelings. Besides, you know you want to buy and sell more stuff on here! It's a cheap thrill (25.00) for all the fun we have on here, and I know you can get the rest of the fun and advice and opinions for free, but wouldn't you feel a little bit better knowing you helped to keep the place alive? Being from up north I'm sure you understand unions better than I do, but it would kinda feel to me like riding the coattails of others for free. You know I love ya ,man!!

Re: WTB- 67-8 Top Grill Moulding
You broke a rule, and were treated like everyone else. I am really sorry it upsets you enough to go on n on about it in posts. I honestly would try and let it go, it can not be healthy to harbor.
Yes you are a good member, yes you help alot. If you subscribe, thats your choice. If you do not, again your choice. Much as it was your choice to post a political thread. Even implying you knew it was against the rules, in the said thread. No one treated you unfairly, or deserves the continued grief in posts about it. |

I will be glad to take some pics for you, but the soonest I can get them would be this weekend, probably Sunday.
Is that ok? I understand if you don't wish to wait that long. |
