Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
Looking for feedback on LED tailights if you have them. Was thinking of buying the ones from Brothers that is the lens and light assy. Also considered the ECE replacement panel of LED and use the original lens. The ECE part is alot more $$ then the other just looking to find out if I could get some comparison feedback on these. Thanks! Ron
P.S. Any suggestions on Headlamp upgrades would be appriceated as well.

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
ECE no longer sells them. Their supplier bunkrupted. I tried to exchange a set that had quit working and they issued me a refund due to this. Just as well...they had quit working and had to be returned three times already. I've got a set in my other truck that has been in just as long and I've never had a problem out of them.

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
I purchased a complete set ( front turn/running, rear brake/taillight, and the back-up ) of LED lights from Justin(Chevy4X472 who's a boardmember) for my GMC. Had a small problem with one, and he repaired/replaced it with no problem. Even apologised for the inconvenience. Now how can ya beat that?

Me too. They are very time consuming for him to make and he communicated very well with me as he made them. I got all of these from him and love them. He's making me the side markers now. Great guy. Tom

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
Had them in my last car, and liked them. They are brighter, come on quicker, and should last the life of the truck. You will need an electronic flasher, as the electrical load of the led's is smaller, and will not trip a regular turn signal flasher

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
i have a set of the taillights that musclerodz sells. i like them just fine. it's the half panel of LEDs incorporated with the lens. look and fit well. cheaper than full panel lights.

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
I've seen Justin's LED's in person, and they are nice. Full panel, I think he said like 120 leds per side.
You definitely will be seen!

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
I have the half panels that include the lense that are $59 a pair. I have p[robably sold a 75-100 sets off this board and I think I have only had to replace one assembly. I also have the full panels simlar to what ECE sold, but also have a sequential function if you want it, they are $169 on sale. If you are into billet, I also have a replacement bezel and lense that is sick with our full panel LED's. Both lights come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
Here you go Ol'skool I guess i didn't have a video of the sidemarkers in the album. I stopped doing the custom deluxe sidemarkers. I did a set for five-O and curbstonemechanic (i'm working on it) I'm only doing the 85 chevy van sidemarkers now.

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
Justin sorry to hear your not making the delux markers any more. I love mine. Dont blame you though, looked like a lot of work and proly loosing money on them. Still plan on tails and fronts, saving me coin to do so. Until then Ill take care of my limited addition markers.

Re: Feedback on LED Tailights If You Have Them
I don't think that you need to replace the flasher if your only doing the tail lights. If the front turn signals are still factory type bulbs then they will pull enough to make your flashers work. IF your replacing both sets, front and rear then I believe that you would need a flash unit. Someone chime in here... I have led bulbs in my tail lights and a factory flasher and it works just fine.
