Bagging my '67, need help.
I have a '67 swb Chevy, and I want to bag it. My buddy got his kit from FBIRides for $1000, but told me to get a switch box insted. I just need to know what to get in a kit. I'm new, and want to get what I need, the 4-link, and spindles, and stuff will have to be added later....lol.

When you do, provide more details of parts you have, the type of suspension your truck has, & what your immediate (or ultimate) goal is so the people that do help you can provide accurate answers. I always recommend Air Ride Tech for people just starting out. Once you know what your doing, then piece a kit together if desired. Need to go lower than that?? There are other kit's available to allow laying the rails out.

Re: Bagging my '67, need help.
Suspension? Stock height, nothing change, coil spring rear. I have a lot of friends that have bags, but have never really liked them, but that has changed. I didn't really want a lot of answers, just need to know if a new guy, should buy a kit, and where from, is FBI a good place? I want a cheap kit, and upgrade for my needs at that time, work my way up to a full out truck to drag whenever I want. For now, just a easy bolt on in a weekend kit, with bags in place of all 4 coils.
If you can help me, I'm reposting in the right forum...thanks. I haven't been on here in a while, and have dail-up, I just posted really fast and didnt look...lol. Last edited by The Big Green; 10-05-2008 at 06:01 PM. |
