Wheels

Here are the new wheels I picked up . I am still waiting on the drop parts but I washed the truck and took a couple pics . What do you think ? I wish I had went with the Goodyear tires but these look OK for now .

Re: Wheels

Man.. That ain't even right!

I'm gonna use one of those pics on my background to keep my inspiration higher... they're awesome!

My wheel project is on hold until after Dec 31st due to wedding bills piling up! So, the lowrider won't get 20's until 2009.

Fronts are Federal and rears are Nexen . The sidewall on the goodyear was more symmetrical . It is just a visual thing . The tread patterns on these match close enough but the sidewalls are a little different . I saved a little over $300 with these so I went for it .

Re: Wheels

If you hadn't told me that they were different I sure would not have been able to tell from the pictures. It looks really good.
What size rims and tires are they?

Re: Wheels

The pics always make it look better . The paint is original and has flaws but looks good in the shadows . The tires look fine because the pics lose a little detail . I like them but I am picky in certain areas . Tires are one . The tires are 255/55/17 and 275/60/17 on 17x8 and 17x10 Coddington Smoothie 2's. Both front and rear have 4.5 inches of backspace so there are some deep lips on them .

Man that is a slick beauty! No matter if its lowered or not.
I need to get some wheels like that, but with all the stupid laws here itīll be a pain in the back! Do the have some weight rating or papers wich proof the safetytesting?

Re: Wheels

Looks great Frank. I know you have researched it, but those front tires look rather tall and wide. Be careful when you drop it.
