American Classic Truck Parts.com
Has anybody ever dealt with American Classic Truck Parts? I found them while surfing the net and their prices seemed pretty good. http://americanclassic.com
I just wanted to see if anybody had problems before I started giving them my money! Thanks!

Re: American Classic Truck Parts.com
My only experience with them was a let down. When I wanted to do my Blazer tank conversion, I called them and asked if I could come out and pick up the tank from them, since they are fairly local. They said no! I told them I just wanted to avoid oversized shipping charges, and I could make it whenever it was convenient for them, they said "no we only ship parts". So they have never gotten a dime from me.
Other than that, I have no idea how they are to deal with. Are they board vendors? If not, you are about to get bombarded with recommendations that you only buy from board vendors. Which is fair enough. But if it's rock bottom prices you want, and your willing to go against the grain here, check out www.truckandcarshop.com. Some good prices, and any order over $250 is shipped free. I do try to support the board vendors here. But sometimes I can sneak in a few extra parts buy from t&s shop, given their pricing and free shipping policy. Jay

Re: American Classic Truck Parts.com
I have purchased from them with good results. I think they are primarily a drop shipper on new stuff and they ship used from their location which is very common now with shipping costing so much and margins so low

I live right down the street from them, and they have nearly everything they advertise in stock.

Re: American Classic Truck Parts.com
If I don't use one of the board vendors that is who I use. It used to be Chevy Duty.

Re: American Classic Truck Parts.com
Yep I was wrong. BTW I think it was a shame GM made them change their name.
