Summit sells Richmond 3.73's in a 3 series carrier and a 4 series carrier...Which one do i need for my now 3.07 12 bolt??
and do i need to buy 3.73 posi gears or do i just get 3.73 gears, or is there even an option, are all 3.73's the same???
I hope i was clear...And where can i see a full line of EATON products online????

Thanks

The factory put the 3.73s on a 4 series carrier. If you already have a 3 series posi carrier, you need the 3.73s designed for the 3 series carrier. If you are purchasing a posi, I would go for a 4 series unit, & 4 series gears....crazy AL

If I remember correctly (because I have already gone through this) there is a slight difference between the carriers and the ring gear diameters. Summit Racing can set you up but you will need the number off of your differential, on the top right inboard axle housing. I used Summit Racing and Richmond gears and everything worked out fine.

Carrier and Gears

I have a Gov Lock 3 series carrier and a set of 3.73 gears for sale. The gears do NOT fit the carrier. Let me know if you are interested.
