sealer for floor hump cover
What do you guys use to seal the floor hump or trans cover to the floor? I want this to be easily removable so butyl and silicone are not options. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Bill |

Re: sealer for floor hump cover
I'm going to put a bead of silicone on mine in the groove and then let it dry. That way it will provide some seal and still be able to be removed.

Re: sealer for floor hump cover
I used 3M strip calk myself. I will stick it to the floor though. Silicone is not a good idea. It attracts moisture, causes rust, will make paint fish eye, and once it is in the metal is near impossible to get out. I thought about a custom made sponge rubber seal, but that would retain water also. I think that the 3M strip calk is the best idea. WES
