Bumper
I GOT A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS AND I KNOW I CAN GET MY ANSWERS HERE.
1- I PUT A 86 2WD BODY ON A 79 FRAME AND NEED TO PUT A FRONT BUMPER ON IT. DO I GET BUMPER FOR THE 86? WILL IT BOLT RITE UP? I PREFER THE 86 BUMPER. 2- THE ORIGINAL MOTOR IS A 4.3 LIT. V-6. WITH A SERPENTINE BELT SET-UP. CAN I TAKE IT OFF AND USE IT ON A 350? THANXS IN ADVANCE.

Re: Bumper
im not sure about the serpentine system but i think there is a difference on the frames and you would need to cut it to make an 86 bumper fit.. CaptKaos would prolly know the correct answer

Re: Bumper
Front frame horns requiring trimming to allow the later model bumper to fit the pre-81 frame. The later model bumper will also contact the 73-80 style fenders for those out there wanting to go that direction.
The 4.3 accesory drive will fit a sbc V8. A 4.3 is basically a V8 w/the back two cylinders removed.

Re: Bumper
I have a 81-87 bumper on my 80 with just the brackets and frame mounts wallered out, i'm using the 73-80 L shaped bracket and the 81-87 braces
