1971 gmc big block

Is a 1971 gmc big block rarer than a chevy has any one put 73 -87 saddle tanks on a 67-72

a 71 would be a 402 regardless what the SPID says, chevy stopped making 396 engines at the end of the 69 model run.

GMC trucks were made in smaller numbers period.

Longhorn's right... 396 from the factory in '71 is not possible.

Yeah,a GMC with BBC would be more rare than a Chevy.There were about 20% GMCs to Chevy built and as you add lower number options you can get a pretty rare GMC.
