I looked under my 74 K-10 and there is nothing that looks like that. Also looked in my 55-59 assembly manual, no go there too. With the headed clips it does look like an exhaust bracket.

That might be an original 4x4 exhaust hanger. I don't know 100% because I have never owned a 4x4 that had it still there, but it could possibly be one for the 67-72 style? Quite possibly for a wood bed? Sorry I can't help you there, maybe someone else will chime in. Trevor

original 4x4 bracket from 71-72 exhaust, mounts in front of the ebrake attach point.
