Hello from over the hill in Sonoma. You may have to file the holes as stated in this great FAQ. As far as an added hole, maybe for a strut support rod?

Re: power disk brake conv...extra hole needed??
I don't know about that I just added power to mine and I didn't have to drill an extra hole for anything it all bolted right up!
and heres a picture without it as you can see the holes are already there unless your setup is diferent...

Hello from over another hill in Rohnert Park! If you're talking about the bracket holes, the only variations are from 1/2T to 3/4T. Also, 73+ brackets are different than ours, too.

Re: power disk brake conv...extra hole needed??
Hey Petey Pablo....first thanks for the photos!
Second...what kind of headers are those? I just got mine from Summit....I went with the ones that work with Porterbuilt Drop Crossmember....hmmmm just in case.....wouldnt want my headers to be a excuse for me not getting a drop crossmember.. Well all my parts are bought and I'm picking my truck in the morning to start putting it together!! I cant wait....I feel like a little kid at christmas! I'ts 511pm and I want to go to bed now so I can wake up early and go get my truck out of storage!! Here's how she looks now... Well see how she looks after she's all tuned up and dropped down a bit....oh yeah and added power disk brakes so she's safe! |
