Fs- 1972 take-off tailgate nos?
I am listing this original take-off tailgate from a 1972 chevrolet truck. It is in new condition with the exception of a few scratches to primer that the orginal owner did before the slide-in camper was completed. I perfer it to be picked-up, but i will ship it anywhere in the lower 48 states. $850 firm plus shipping

Re: Fs- 1972 take-off tailgate nos?
72 Super- Shipping FedEx is $86.54 with full insurance. I have shipped and received one like this before. I would heavy bubble wrap the gate with a double layer across the band molding, then wrapped in heavy cardboard with fragile marked everywhere. The other way would be to remove the band and ship separate in a tube for extra $35-$40. Thanks for your interest.

Re: Fs- 1972 take-off tailgate nos?
Be carefull here if this is shipped via fedx wrap well! I bought a nos gate in Florida and fedx destoryed it. It was packed well too. It was hit so hard on the top it bowed it. A shame it WAS a perfect nos gate. I would use old carpet and carpet pad to wrap it. The denseness really works well for protection. Just my thoughts. Oh yea INSURANCE!
