Project Farm Truck
Ok, I have had several requests to do a build up page on my truck. I cant seem to find all the pictures from the build up but for now I will post what I have until I can find them. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Heres the day that I got it home
   And we immediatly started the tear down and got it at a respectable height!

There was alot of work to be done with the body!
The drivers side A-Pillar was really bad so I cut one off of a donor cab and repaired it Before  After  Had to replace floor pans, Inner and outer lower cowl panels along with cab corners

We decide to shave a bunch of unecessary items like door handles, mirrors, fuel filler, etc...

Out of curiosity how long once it was painted did it take you to put it back togther? Mine will be in paint this winter and I am looking for some inspiration.

Once painted it took me just a few months to get it back together and wired and driving.
The wheels in the pics were 20x8.5 with 215/35/20 tires |

The interior I had redone in a cream leather with Suede inserts.

Since completion I have made a few changes.
I changed the 350 sbc  to a 2003 corvette LS1   We had to go with the brackets from a Camaro SS in order to make the engine fit in such a tight compartment. Firewall finished

the ls1 looks really good . i can't wait to start on mine. i hope to have it runnin and drivin by your show . it will still be rusty but it will layout. i'll be with trent {blue camro}i hope you like it.

killer truck! I like how you've put together alot of before & after pictures. Makes for good viewing. Did you drive it with the SBC before replacing with the LS? I did not, so I was wandering how much dif. you noticed between power plants.

One last question. What did you use to fasten the rod door panels? I have heard they suggest velcro but it does not hold the panels that well.

1sik, I can't tell but did you weld up around the steering column...the horse shoe area in the dash? I am going to be installing the column in a few weeks and have been pondering the column drop and how to make that area look clean.
