Re: Does anybody have any plans to make kick pannels?..

i made mine from 1/8 plywood from a template i got from one of the guys on here. just layed the templet down, traced it and cut it out with a jig-saw. then i covered them with the thin carpet you can get in rolls at walmart. staples and adhesive. SIMPLE !!
i wanted speackers in mine so i took the kick panel vents out and put the speakers in those holes so they layed flat. being im in phoenix i never had to worry bout water etc. getting to the speakers so it worked perfect.
cost was prob. 10$ in materials. i MAY have a pic , email me at zane_28@hotmail.com and ill try to find it and send it to ya......

Re: Does anybody have any plans to make kick pannels?..

Here's mine, I don't care for the way the guy made them tho. I'm gonna remake them and wrap the material around the edge rather than putting in the seamed edge. It's just "speaker box" (or thin non-backed carpet) material glued on 1/8" wood paneling.

Just a head's up on the pattern. Make yours out of cardboard so you can check the fit before you transfer it to your wood backing!
