Re: Shorty headers or Ramhorns?
I'm fairly certain ramhorns will work, since they came stock on these engines. And in many cases, they will flow as good as shorty headers, perhaps even better if they're 2 1/2 inch outlets.
Someone else should be able to verify this, but I think thats what I've read... -Sam.

Re: Shorty headers or Ramhorns?
If they are true 2-1/2" Vette ram horns, I would use them over headers any day. That's what I am using, and they will be smoothed and ceramic coated too.

Re: Shorty headers or Ramhorns?
Aren't the center dump ones the ones that exit right at the motor mounts. I thought I had read this someplace.

Re: Shorty headers or Ramhorns?
The motor mounts are more towards the front, almost under the front two spark plugs.

Re: Shorty headers or Ramhorns?
Some do, some don't. Depended on the application and clearance issues.

Re: Shorty headers or Ramhorns?
So I have to ask...
I had ram's horns on my 307 that bolted up to my new 350. I went ahead and put headers on...should I have kept the rams horns?

Re: Shorty headers or Ramhorns?
Thanks for the feedback. Yes they are the 2 1/2" Ramhorns. I didn't know what the reason for the factory manifold to be bent.
