C20 seat belt ?
I believe 3/4 ton trucks only had driver and passenger seat belts..right? Is there a safe way to add a center belt? I'd like to be able to haul another of my kiddos? Thanks...

Re: C20 seat belt ?
Yes real easy. You can buy an aftermarket seat belt or a used factory center seat belt and install it. It uses the same bolts that atttach the inner passenger and driver seat belts to the floor. That is how they were done factory. Just get your new seat belt. Unbolt the original inners. and bolt both the inners and the new center belt to the same bolts. Easy as that

Re: C20 seat belt ?
The center belt was part of the upper level trim package in 10,20,or 30 series.

Re: C20 seat belt ?
Hmmm,I knew it was an option (# AM3),but every Cheyenne/Sierra and Cheyenne Super/Sierra Grande with bench I`ve had has had three belts and none had the option listed.I wondered if GM just didn`t mention the center belt as a feature.

Re: C20 seat belt ?
interesting indeed. I know it wasn't part of the CST package in 69 and 70, I've been through a few of them and only the ones that had it listed on the SPID were equipped. I wonder if they added it in 71 and just never mentioned it in the books.

Re: C20 seat belt ?
I don`t know.I`ve had lots of trucks with the center belt not listed, though.I just gathered they were part of the package. But,I don`t see any mention in any list of features.I`m not book smart, just go by experience, mostly. So,I checked some and found other things that differ from my experience.I`m always open to being wrong.I just try to understand how or why.According to what I`ve read the center belt was only an individual option.

Re: C20 seat belt ?
same here... reading the books it was it's own option ... but like you said, they did funny things sometimes.
