Sat pics (12-6) A cool dually and a couple cooler shots.
This round of pics is going to be considerably shorter than last weeks guys! I'm kinda straying off topic a bit here....but not really. I always make sure to have a 67-72 pickup in my Sat pics so I can keep em in this forum for you guys.
This dually has beenn running around our little town for years. I finally caught it sitting still while I had a camera with me. (Note 72 pickup in background ) Probably the best conversion I've seen done on one of these pickups. (Note 72 pickup in background again ) Sweet step and fender. |

Re: Sat pics (12-6) A cool dually and a couple cooler shots.
Now the cooler shots.
For those that missed it last week, Skratch striped this cooler for us while we were in Daytona. (Still on topic...car in background has a 72 Chevy pickup gas pedal..not to mention the building we shot these in is full of pickup parts!) See the 72 pickup seat in the floor on the other side of the car? |

The man at work. Just in case you've been keeping up with Christy's 54...It does move under it's own power now. And do other things as well. Hope you guys like em! Thanks! |

Tim, I knew that you would appreciate a classic truck that gets worked like that one does!
Yeah, it was a bit on the chilly side. I'm fortunate that she tolerates me and all my automotive/photographic urges. |

That`s a nice job.Dang thing looks factory. Is Christy cold? Oh,I see you have cooler pictures.I mean, she`s cool.I was talking about the cold beverage carrying thingamabobs, which are also cool in more ways than one.

That dually is cool, always wondered if something similar could be done with the 67-72 stepper. Havent seen one yet that looks like a could have been factory truck, but i am sure somebody has built it and i just havent seen it.

Re: Sat pics (12-6) A cool dually and a couple cooler shots.
I bet if you used the rearend out of like the 67 to 72 one tons...it would keep the wheels under the fnders with out mods. That really looks factory. I like it.

Great shots Asa.I like the dually. You are lucky to have Christy put up with your hobbies. The 54 is looking good but you may want to put a wolf whistle on the exhaust from the air valves.

Re: Sat pics (12-6) A cool dually and a couple cooler shots.
The guy that built that dually is no chump. He's definitely got skills.
Notice how the fenders on that truck taper from the bed outward ? That's not an easy add a strip of metal to widen them job like we can do on a 67-72 fender.

Re: Sat pics (12-6) A cool dually and a couple cooler shots.
Definately some metal workin`skills there.I always wanted to do an old one like that, but widen the bed instead.Maybe even widen it more and shrink the fenders.

Great pics Asa, and glad to see the '54 moving on it's own power and with the help of air.
