its nice to get ride running

been doing rust repair and painting my frame under the bed past two weeks... decided to put tank back in cab to fire her up to hear the flowmaster sound.. love it.. so i decided to grab a crate to sit on since the seat is taken out... told friend if he wanted to go he said no..so i backed it out and took off...without a bed the tires spin so easy.. so i took off... went about thirty and floored it...spun the tires for the longest time ever... went back and forth in front of the shop im doing this at so i dont get too far incase it dies... when in a side lot to turn around went back other way flooring it since its a lot louder now without the bed... was out about 5 minutes then went back and parked it since i didnt feel like tightening the fuel lines coming from tank... so it was drippin... i was making a bunch of noise with it and so i went and parked it and called it quits on driving it since i have no seat in it. no seat belts.no tail lights, no lisence plate. no bed i could get a serious ticket for that.... so after i pulled her in shop and shut door.. a cop drives by... thank god i was off the road haha i wouldve gotton in big trouble

Yeah, you got away with one joy ride. But the cops know where you are now and what you've been doin.

I've been wanting to do the same thing with mine but it doesn't have brakes yet...

Don't worry those cops in Salina aren't that bad.

Re: its nice to get ride running

yeah i had to keep a hand with paper towl on my rubber line on tank because when i took it out the first time i cracked the line since it was so brittle.. so i was sittin on a crate hitting my head on a roof... hunched over to see out of the windshield.. so i had a hand on the tank.. hand out the window whenever i turned for my arm directions and knee on the wheel... but when i was going straight it was fun..just the sound it made when i was going about 30 mph and floored it with the windows open and tires chirpin a bit.. you can only imagine what i was thinkin
