20" Coys C-5's (grey)

I purchased these earlier in the year for my 68 Beaters rebuild but the city code enforcement crackdowns have caused me to dismantle the project.

They're called C-5's because they fit over Vette C5 rotors & calipers (unlike ARE TT2's). The front wheels are 20x8.5's, 5.25"bs w/255-40-20's. The rears are 20x10's, 5.50"bs w/295-40-20's & they are the 5 on 5 truck bolt pattern. Tires are Toyo Proxes ST's w/about 10-20 miles. They were installed on my 68's rolling chassis for some pics of a C5 big brake kit & then again on my 74 for additional pics & one trip to the local cruise spot & have been stored in my garage since.

I would prefer a local sale so you can personally inspect them which would eliminate any doubts . . ..... $1800 obo. SOLD!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Here's a pic of a 68 w/the same size tires so you get an idea of how low a truck will go w/them . . ....

Good deal for someone close.
What's going to happen with your truck?

Well.... Of course you already know the wheels/tires are for sale .

The front fenders & swb bedsides have been bodyworked & primed so they'll get wrapped & stored for future use/bartering. The SBC Dropmember goes on a shelf until summertime & will eventually find its way under my 74 (the C5 brakes will join as well). The frame will get 'tweaked' a little more, my C4 Dropmember will get installed & I'll swap the body from my RestoRod project onto it.

The 350 (out of N2TRUXs' 77) that's mated to a 700r4 along w/the rear 12bolt, & the air aide system will find it's way to another 60's GM truck.

I'm basically forced to put my build in a shop vs. out in my driveway. I figured my RestoRod has been waiting for so long that if I have to pay for any truck getting built @ a shop, it's going to be that one & not a beater.

I hate to see the death of your beater. I always liked that truck.

I hate to end the project as well but my other truck is the better investment (for what's left of my sanity @ least). I put the cab/parts in storage so there's always the future.

No commitments. I don't have any pics that would help though because when they were installed on the 68, it was just a cab/chassis.

The pics of N2Billets red truck above has the exact same front size (the rears were a little different). In those pics, the truck has 2.5" dropped spindles, air bags, & stock GM style a-arms.

Heights would work w/your set-up. I know they worked on the red truck & it was approx +6" drop up front @ ride height.

As SCOTI stated, you shouldn't have any issues running these with that setup. Plus he already has the spacers for the caps. Buy them, mount them, and enjoy them...

Eric, he is referring to the spacer between the center cap and the wheel. You can see it on the close-up picture above. Many of Coys wheels have center cap issues on this era of trucks, the center cap on the wheel interferes with the bearing cap on the hub. The little spacer that you see in the picture pushes the wheel center cap out enough so the bearing cap on the rotor will clear.
