that's the same email... you still need the 20% coupon though

the 50% is the price on the items in the email, no coupon required...

Re: Harbor Freight 20% off 12/19-12/21

I bought a PVC ratchet-type cutter from them last week. Ratchet didn't work and the handle broke in my hand on the third cut. What absolute junk! And the nut driver they told me they had was out of stock AGAIN (35 mile round trip waste of time),
If they sent me a 100% discount coupon I'd have to think it over.

thanks for the input,

FYI, there is a review section on the board for your remarks if you really want to pass on bad products...

I bought a lot of things from Harbor Freight and they worked great...there are a lot of things I wouldn't buy from them as well...

As mentioned above there is a review area........but I agree...BEWARE of Harbor Freight/Northern "Made in China" crap!! If you must buy it.....tape the reciept to the box, save it, hold them accountable and return it every time it brakes!

Thats the deal, you gotta look hard at what you're buying. Some of it's a good buy, some ain't.

The complete set of transfer punches I got for $8 was, so was the patch panel clamps for $6. and lots of other stuff. And I ain't got the email yet, somebody send it?

Re: Harbor Freight 20% off 12/19-12/21

Thanks MS

In my box, I've got Crescent and Klein brand adjustable spud wrenches that list over$100, Ridgid, Flange wizard, Dearman, Starrett, Smart Level, Proto, and alot of other premium brands. I've got a $400 welding hood. I've also got wrenches, tapes, hammers and other stuff made in China. All depends on what I'm trying to accomplish or the working environment at the time.

Re: Harbor Freight 20% off 12/19-12/21

Harbor Freight has it's place and it has a LOT of stuff that works fine for the weekend warrior. (jack stands, sand blaster, Sata knock-off hplv gun for primer, etc) It also has a lot of stuff that is pure junk (hand tools, sand paper, drills, etc).

The genius is the one that takes the time to study it in the store before buying it and distinguishing between the two.

I have to admit I've never had a problem with their bead blasting media.

that's the only thing I've ever bought there.
