Try searching amazon.com for series like Trucks, Overhaulin, Chop Cut Rebuild, etc. They usually have good deals on used and new DVD's

First off, let me say "Thank you" for your service.
I personally like to check ebay for those types of things. Or Amazon.com etc. Stay safe.

Re: Going back to Iraq and need some truck shows on DVD. Any ideas??
Ive been back ten days. Good luck. Hodgie stuff on cars is there but there aint much on our trucks. This web site is where I got my fix. The good thing is you will have your truck fixed the way you want it a thousand times in your head. When you get your address, email parts companys and get free catalogs. I think i memorized most of them. EFPs suck, stay away from em. Bad news is Iraqis learned to aim (kinda)

wasnt there a member awhile back that was selling DVDs on working on trucks? I think it was about replacing rocker panels and such.. maybe check the FAQ section...

Re: Going back to Iraq and need some truck shows on DVD. Any ideas??
big_al_71, Ya mags are good. Usually the only mags you can get in the PX truck wise are 4x4 and off-road. They dont sell Hot Rod or anything to do with our trucks.
The PO has a flat rate box for like $5.00 and its as much as you can fit in it. I dont know, Most people collect thier old mags.

I have a couple years worth of old "Custom Classic Trucks" magazines if you don't have them already. Just let me know where to send them and they are yours if you want.

Re: Going back to Iraq and need some truck shows on DVD. Any ideas??
Thanks for your service, I am envious of all the folks that take on this responsibiliity and never ask for anything in return, to you and all the service personnel out there, we are truely endebted to you.
BTW I have several years worth of back issues of hot rod and car craft, mag, I do keep them, but I can't think of a reason I need them in a box more than you and your buddies could!! PM me with an addy once your over there, and I'll send as many as you want. I am an educator and for several years, my students and I put together CARE packages with stuff soldiers would "want" but couldn't get, like cookies, baby wipes, etc, etc. My daughter was a Girl scout when she was younger and my wife and I bought cases of GS cookies and mailed them over there, I hope they enjoyed em?! Let us know, my family and I would be glad to "hook you up" with any thing you might want/need. My nephew has been there 6-8 times over the last 6-7 years (Air Force, delayed enlistment his Jr year in HS, 9/11 happened when he was a senior, so he has been there starting from the beginning to his last deployment (we hope!) last year. GOD Bless and stay safe, we are all praying and pulling for you and all the other military members in Iraq/Afghanistan. |
