step side help

ok the steps on my step side are rusted through and almost at the point of braking now my question is...is there a place i can buy just the steps or am i gunna have to just reinforce the old steps with diamond plating

LMC also sells them. With which ever ones you go with, you will have to unbolt the old ones and bolt the new ones on. They should bolt into the same holes. Be sure to test fit all the bolts, as you may need to use a uni bit and enlarge a hole or two since they are aftermarket.

Also, you probably will want to replace the step brace also. As is usual withe the steppers, they rust through between the step and the brace, which usually means the brace is junk to. LMC also carries them. Try around page 28 of the catalog. I just got one from them and it was pretty good qualtiy wise. Not quite as good as the GM one I cam across a year ago, but not too bad.

I have been looking for the chrome ones forever. I bought a set years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember where.
