GM Rear Disc Conversion?
I did a search and didnt find anything. Is there a rear disc conversion for our trucks that uses GM parts? I thought that I read somewhere about one that uses Caddy parts?

Re: GM Rear Disc Conversion?
I saw your post. I have visited his site many times, and these are the first photos I have seen of the kit I would be buying, except I will need the parking brake setup. Are these GM parts with custom brackets? I would like to keep GM calipers and discs so I can just go to the local parts place and get them instead of trying to track down custom parts, and pay accordingly. The site does not give much info, at least on the questions I need answered.

Yes it is the same caliper as your front ones on your truck and I think the rotors are off a newer GM truck and yes it is custom brackets. Now with a Parking brake one I don not know about, but I do know that it is GM parts.. Hope this helps.. Trav

Re: GM Rear Disc Conversion?
I think it may be rear mid 80s caddliac calipers that work, or ones of 3rd gen camaros that work with e brake. I'll have to do some digging/searching. I remember reading a 88-98 rearend disc brake swap that used everything gm except the brackets.

Re: GM Rear Disc Conversion?
If they are all GM parts, except for the brackets, that would be what I am looking for. I will have to email him and ask some questions.
