SWB vs. LWB
What is the length of the SWB vs. the LWB?
What is a c10 8' bed - is this a lwb or swb? Thanks. |

SWB & LWB refer to the wheel base.
115 inches = SWB = Short Wheel Base (OAL -bumper to bumper = 188 1/2") 127 inches = LWB = Long Wheel Base (OAL - bumper to bumper = 207 3/4") (wheel base is measured from centerline of front wheel to centerline of rear wheel) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you are reffering to the length of the BED Shortbed Stepside = 78 1/4 inches long X 50 inches wide Longbed Stepside = 98 inches long X 50 inches wide Shortbed Fleetside = 78 1/4 inches long X 66 inches wide (width measured at inside of top lip) Longbed Fleetside = 98 inches long X 66 inches wide (width measured at inside of top lip) The 8 foot bed would be a longbed... hope this helps... Also, you've got a *Longhorn* it is longer than a long bed, it has an additional 6" to the front of the bed and 6" added to the frame in that place. Which would make it a total of 133". Is that one right Longhornmail???
