best way for 6" lift on 87 3/4 ton 4x4?

Bought a 6" rough country lift for my 87 3/4 ton 4x4. 6" springs in the front, with 4" block and add a leaf in the rear. I would like to ditch the 4" blocks for an 4" offroad design shackle flip. It looks like the add a leaf is not for the 56" rear leafs and for the 52". Part number is G103 if anyone can confirm that its for 52" rear springs.

Would I be best off with 4" ORD flip and 2" blocks, or anyone have any other suggestions. Thanks

That said, I think the shackle flip with a 6" long shackle, stock springs and a 1" zero rate would be the way to go. May have to cut the spring pads and re-weld for pinion angle or add a shim.

thanks for the replies first off. Is a 6" shackle, measured from eye to eye?

Re: best way for 6" lift on 87 3/4 ton 4x4?

That is similar lift to what I used on mine. 6” Superlift springs upfront, ORD HD front shackles, 4” ORD shackle flip and stock springs in the rear. I had my rear spring packs reworked years ago to level out the truck 4” lift I had at the time without the needs for lift blocks so I actually had to remove one arched spring from the packs to try to level it out after the 6” springs and 4” ORD kit was installed as the rear sat too high.

I would use the 6” springs and the 4” ORD flip then see where you are at then. You might be surprised as it may just sit level or pretty close to it. If not, then get the 6” ORD shackle. A slight swat in the rear looks better than rear sitting higher than the front. It is very hard to get a custom lifted truck to sit completely level. Mine still sits a bit high in the rear but all the crap in the camper shell weight it down enough to somewhat level it out.
