57 chevy truck chase scene
Heres a little proof that an old truck is drivable without a camaro clip!! This really makes me want to go fire my 56 up and drive the hell out of it.

Re: 57 chevy truck chase scene
Good god..... My '57 is pretty stock as that one is, and I wouldn't dare push it like that, that must have been HAIRY even for a stunt driver!

Re: 57 chevy truck chase scene
That truck must have had a V8 in it because my I6 would have puked a rod out the side of the block driving it like that.

no seatbelts, just put your feet on the dash and hold on to the vent window

Re: 57 chevy truck chase scene
that's freakin' awesome.. I haven't driven mine since 1997.
I had to go out to the garage and touch it. Sitting there in pieces waiting for me to finish it. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Re: 57 chevy truck chase scene
Yeah, it would definately be scary as hell to ride in a stocker bieng driven like that. I definately dont think it drove like a c-5 corvette, but it did drive better than most would think. The front hood ornament had a V on it so I would assume that the truck if it were original had the 283 v8. It definately had the stock I beam; that is very noticable in many shots.
