Re: What you think

Build it to your hearts desire. With that said I'd just lower it a bit, toss some wheels on and enjoy. Pics please.

Re: What you think

To each their own.... it's your rig do what you like.

I understand why you would like to find a 4x and change it to a 2wd, so I'm behind you.

But...

Re: What you think

I dont think you'll hurt the value any converting it to 2WD.I sure would like to have those back slider windows if you decide to go topless.

No sliders are original. They might be a dealer add on.

Re: What you think

I was watching that one as well - not to bid - just curious to see what it went for.

Nice score. Seems pretty solid.

As mentioned - it is your truck - you can build it however you want. If you want a 2wd - go for it.

Re: What you think

Looks like a good price to me. Personally I couldn't make any blazer 2wd but then again everything I own is 4x4 so it's up to you. If it's what you had planned when you bought it, I say do what you want.

The rear sliders are pretty cool, probably worth some money. If you ever swap them out ( i'm not trying to buy them ) i'm sure someone will jump on them and regular side glass is easy to find, i've got a set myself.

Re: What you think

Is there any mention of the sliding windows on the option sheet on the back of the glovebox door? Can you post a picture of the options?Looks like it has some good ones.

Re: What you think

Convert. It isn't a rare truck in pristine condition so it can't hurt the value. I see a lot of non-original items (mirrors, antenna, wheels, etc.). The truck needs work so anything you do will increase the value. Build what you want.

I appreciate that, but it was ideas from this board or my body guy that makes mine cool. I was just going to go topless with flat black paint. With a good body guy I've got way more then that.

Look other peoples blazers and write down what you like and dislike about them the most. Then do what YOU want.
