Hello , my name is denny and am new to this site but not new to building trucks or blazers. I am looking for info or pics of what people have done to repair or replace there rocker boxes with other than stock replacement parts?

Re: pic request of rocker box replacement
Welcome to the board.
What's your intent when you say 'replacing' the rockers? Keeping things stock looking or modified? Do you plan on getting into the torsion boxes too? The torsion boxes are the tub's 'sub-structure' that keeps the firewall in place basically. (Keeps the door openings from closing up when the top is removed) For my off road blazer, I replaced everything (outer rockers/inner rockers & torsion box) with a piece of DOM tied into both the firewall & the rear door pillar. |

Then continued on and made some rock sliders.
Then cut down the doors & hard top too. |

Re: pic request of rocker box replacement
I think those parts are available repro to replace your rusted out torsion box.
How does the rest of it look? The lower pillars and rockers? Rust wise? |
