New member from Saskatchewan, Canada
Hi i am a new member who has already accumulated a few chevys. I have a 2000 Silverado 2500, 85 GMC 1/2 ton, 81 Camaro, 69 1/2 ton, 52 1/2 ton, and a 49 1 ton.
The 85 is my main project right now. It is lowered and has the newer style stepside. It also has an L-88 hood scoop. I built a 350 with AFR 195 eliminators, Comp Magnum cam, and holley carb. I am currently using my brother's 77 vette tranny because I cracked the case on mine. He wants it back soon before I do the same to his. I changed the gears from 2.73 to 3.42s. Definate improvement but new motor could use more gear. I plan on narrowing diff and converting to 4 link or ladder bar suspension(any ideas on which works better in a truck?) My 52 is all torn apart and is getting the IFS from the Camaro. It is put on hold until I get some room to work on it. |
