Post Drop Spindle

Question, 1" or 1 1/4" rotor? Belltech Drop spindle come in the 2 sizes for rotor width. I am using 73-87 balljoints which are already installed so every thing out will be same model.
Will either spindle work as long as I use the correct rotor width, and are both ready avaliable.

Thanks
