Lowering Questions
Whats up guys so i need some feedback im a 22 year old guy who is doing my first truck. My uncle passed away and it was his and wanna do something in his memory. Im lookin to do 7 in the back and 5 in the front due to the blown 454 im workin on right now for it. Any one got ideas to do it the best way and the easiest.

I'm sorry for your loss.
2-1/2" dropped spindles(requiring disk brakes) and 2" lowering springs would put the front 4-1/2" lower. The rear might be a little trickier than just simple lowering blocks & coils with a C-notch, because don't the GMC's have leaf springs?

Yep, GMC's are leaf springs in the generation.

heres a good place to get upgraded suspension parts for our trucks, they sell a kit for lowering it the way you want but if you have leaf springs out back then i dont think the kit will work out back
