NOS TAilgate?
I found a guy in Idaho that says he has a NOS Never used Tailgate for a 67-72. He is asking $200 for it. I was wondeing how I would know if it is not a repop and if it was worth it?

Re: NOS TAilgate?
Generally speaking, the repop cheap stuff does not have the "Chevrolet" stamped into it. The more expensive repop and usually of better quality tailgates have the Chevy stamped in them.

Re: NOS TAilgate?
Even if it's a reproduction with the stamped letters it's still worth $200.

Re: NOS TAilgate?
I Just got ahold of the guy again and he sold it already, he didn't want to hold it for me for a couple weeks to come up and get it from him. He said it had the Chevrolet stamped in it and he bought it from a GM dealership, it was still in the box even. I was almost lucky, story of my life.
