**STOLEN** truck, please keep an eye out...Ruston, Louisiana

Hi, I realize this is my first post and it probably won't be recieved well. cause I'm a new guy... but, I signed up a while back, just never posted anything...

anyway, please keep an eye out for this truck...it's my brothers. He actually got it from a guy on this message board (back in 2004 I think) some of the stuff's been changed some, (interior, engine, trans, wheels, and some little stuff)... but anyway that's a little background (don't know the guys username who we got it from(he was in witchita falls, TX though)

don't know all the details yet, but here's what the truck looks like...

It’s an 82 chevy pickup. The license plate is “NOMONEY”. It’s black and has torq thrust II’s all around.

Here’s a pic of it,

And a pic of the easiest thing to identify….
The license plate…it’s easy to remember “NOMONEY’

If you see anything, please call the state police as soon as possible.
Please keep an eye out for it.

Here's a # to call if you see something...

Troop E Headquarters 318-487-5911

one more pic...

also, if you know anyone who lives near ruston, please let them know...put the word out to anyone and everyone you know, please...

I hope there's still a shot at finding it...like I said I don't know all the details yet, but I think it was stolen sometime last night or early this morning

Thanks,
Kenny

Not only do I hope to get the truck back but I hope the Cops give you some time alone with the guy that took it. So you can have a little discussion with him about it!

Hope it gets found in mostly one piece. Most likely it is on its way south of the boarder.

Re: **STOLEN** truck, please keep an eye out...Ruston, Louisiana

thanks everyone.

I'm hoping that there's still a chance of finding it since it didn't happen too long ago. I appreciate everyone keepin a look out for it. I don't know about a whole lot of websites, so if you know are a member of any other site, that would be great if you could post it on there too. or email this to all your friends if you can....the more people that know about it, the better.

Here's a little bit more detailed description that might help with identifying the truck (or parts of it)...

-wheels are torq thrust II’s...18x8s in the front (not sure what size tires) 20x10 in the rear with 295/40 tires, They are Dunlop tires
-The engine is a 6 month old 350 small block chevy crate motor bought from a GM dealership. It has 69 camaro headers on it. The headers have been jet hot coated.
-The transmission is an Art Carr 700r4.
-it has a Budnik half-wrap steering wheel on it. The rest of the interior is pretty much stock. It has a stock looking dash, and door panels. And a black leather seat with vertical pleats.
-It has the gas door on both sides of the truck, but there is only the one gas tank (on the pass. Side)
-has a molded in roll pan on front and back (no bumpers)
-It has a 91 gmc suburban front clip.
-It has a cowl induction hood.
-The license plate frame is a socal speed shop frame.
-There are no outside mirrors or antennas.
-It has a power master gear reduction starter. (if you’ve ever heard one starting, they have a unique sound)
-The bed stake pockets have been smoothed.
-has a Louisiana tech student parking sticker on the lower corner of the driver side of the back window.
-has no outside lock cylinders. Operated by remote from the outside, but still has the factory lock rod on the interior.
-Cd player in the dash
-has an optima battery (red top)
-It has 3" aluminized exhaust tubing with an x pipe in the center. It has Edelbrock mufflers. It exits on the passenger side near the back(right behind the rear wheel) but it’s not visible from a standing position.
-the wheel tubs look factory, but are actually about 3" wider than stock.

....If I think of anything else I'll post it...

Thanks again,
Kenny

Re: **STOLEN** truck, please keep an eye out...Ruston, Louisiana

just found the receipt for the steering wheel. It's a budnik Prism wheel.
Here's what it looks like...

also, just talked to my brother, he says the front tires are 245/45. I also found this recent picture that shows the design of the tread. and I think the backspacing on the rear wheels is 4.5"

I figure, if it gets stripped down or parted out, these parts will be the first to go. So, I'm trying to put as much information as I can.

Re: **STOLEN** truck, please keep an eye out...Ruston, Louisiana

It may have a maaco paint job by now and I'm sure the plates have been changed.
It may be getting parted out also, so look into EVERY ad selling parts like are
on you're truck.
I know people who have found their stuff only because they checked that
"one last place" so don't give up.

I don't know about your town, but the police here are pretty worthless as far as catching criminals, but we do have a plan for the dirtbags and thieves, it's called the Trinity River plan.

Ask anybody and everybody who may have seen it get stolen.

Don't ask why I think this, but check up on the less friendly people ("friends") you know. sometimes it's people you know that know you're schedule, (ie. when your at work, when you're in bed, etc.) I'm sorry about your bro's truck!!!
