Need some advise on mounting buckets

Hello, Ive been a member for awhile but usually do more reading than posting, Ive gotta say theres alot of knowledgeable poeple on here, and alot of helpful info. I have a 86 gmc 1/2 ton 4x4 with bench seat, I just got a heck of a deal on a set of brand new still in plastic from the factory leather 6 way buckets out of a 93 typhoon, i am gonna mount these in my truck with a center console, but i think its gonna be quite changelling due to the way the floor of the truck is constructed, the bench seat is mounted on the 2 humps on either side of the cab that is over the gas tanks and then flat between them any suggestions on mounting them would be very much appreciated.

Also I want to put a tilt steering column in, in place of the stock which is not, how difficult of a job is it.

Thanks
