Just a couple pics of my blazer
As the title says, nothing special just a few new pictures of my blazer i thought i would share. Its a daily driver and a constant work in progress, so its not always clean lol. Let me know what you think
The last picture is a shot of my new upholstery just sitting ontop the seat. Its still not installed ive got to do a little foam work. Its a later model seat for my bodystyle and they started making the seats more form fitting so i need to add some foam to get it to fill out the older style cover. Its one of those need a good warm day to mess with it and havent had one in a while. tyler |

How much is it lowered? V8 I guess? Give us some more detail. I like it, one day I'll get around to posting pics of mine.

Re: Just a couple pics of my blazer
The front is laying skidplate with suicidedoors tubular arms and slam specialty bags and 2 inch drop spindles. It has about a 2and a 1/4 inch tie rod notch into the frame also. The rear has a 4 inch drop, but the leafs have sag'd over the last year or so, its probably closer to a 5 inch drop. But as of today i should have a 4 link on the way for the rear to get it as low as the front. The engine is nothing fancy just a base model gm crate motor, the older 260 hp, 350 ft lbs of torque, with a TCI th350 trans and a stock nearly broken rear end lol.Glad you like it, please post pics of yours.

Re: Just a couple pics of my blazer
also it has a 68 chevy dashboard, ive got some better pictures of it but my phone isnt working right at the moment. But the dash is a work in progress so alot of the welds are fully smoothed out and the guage cluster isnt finished either, butyou get the idea

Re: Just a couple pics of my blazer
thanks, the entire dash has almost 13 inches taken out of it, its 1.5 on either side of the gaues, 6 and 3/4s or so out the center, and then 3 out of the glovebox. I had to make the sides to meet up with the a-pillars of the s10. Ive got the dash pad frame all cut down to fit just need to put some new studs on it and rewrap it

Re: Just a couple pics of my blazer
yea, im pretty happy with how its turned out so far. My little wiring ribbon on the guage cluster is severly beat up and the copper strips where the plug clips in are coming unlaminted leaving me without gauge lights so that kinda sucks, but so far ive got almost no money into doing it as i got the dash for free. Ive also got a four link for the rear coming too.
thanks for the kind words. |
