Is this a good kit?
http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Air...on-Kit/582028/
About how much clearance do yall think there will be between the ground and the rockers with this kit, 2.5 drop spindles and a c-notch? Im running 15" rally rims with I 275/60/15 tires. I shouldnt need anything else should I.

Re: Is this a good kit?
Just by looking at it real quick, it looks like a universal kit and not something specific to the c-10. The front mounts don't look right, theres no gauges, and the switch box looks crappy . You can build a way better kit for much cheaper and it would probably suit your needs better. Theres a sale on 4 Airlift bags and mounts for the front of our c-10s at suicide doors for $250. The mounts are easy to install, just mark your upper spring mount, drill 4 holes and then they bolt right in. I just got mine today and the brackets are some serious pieces.
In the back of your truck, as long as you have the factory coil springs, you just have to drill a couple holes to mount the bag. check it out here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=129463 You could go with a viar air kit that's proven to be pretty tough. and it includes pretty much eveything you'll need except for fittings, and with fittings there is no way of telling exactly what you'll need until you actually set up your lines. http://www.*****************/air-mana...starter-kit-38 In other words, the kit your looking at is too much, it's missing too many pieces and it'll be harder to install than if you piece something together. If you have any other questions let me know, I'll be happy to help in any way I can. Last edited by vonlefty; 01-12-2009 at 08:57 PM. |

Re: Is this a good kit?
250 from SD- four bags and front brackets is a pretty sweet deal. Im sure if you called SD they could put a kit together for you. Call up one of the guys or PM them on here.....its worth doing a little price hunting especially if you can get the mounting kit for the truck its going on instead of a universal "hot rod" kit.
