wiring diagram

Hey guys. I have asked several questions concerning putting a 96 5.7/ l460e into my 69. I'm almost ready to start doing the wiring. I'm leaning towards using the donor harness instead of doing the aftermarket harness deal. where can I find the best (most detailed) wiring diagrams on both the 69 and the 96.
I want to remove the wiring that I know I wont be using. Also does anyone know approx it will cost me to have my ecm reprogrammed deleting what I dont need?
Thanks

Re: wiring diagram

A new prom will probably cost about 150.00. Troy Brown at howel engine development can do this for you. Any good mechanic shop should have access to either All data or Mitchell on demand wiring diagrams.

Re: wiring diagram

And here is for the 69...Let me know if you can't make anything out, I can email them and maybe they will come out better, also, if you print them that tends to make the words more legible...These two are done through Adobe Reader, if you don't have it you can get it free on the Adobe website...

Re: wiring diagram

As old as this thread is I don't see you getting a reply from the old posters.
Since you are looking for a factory wiring diagram you only have to look in a 71 factory chassis service manual. There are many sources for these and if need a "get by" copy many can be downloaded by following the link "RTFM" in my signature.
