Buddy Buckets+Subs???
Hey guys I'm putting buddy buckets in my 4x4 and have the tank in the stock location... The doors are already hacked so I'ma put some 6x9's in there and need ideas on what to do as far as a sub. I've built a couple of different types for the bench in my 2wd and right now I'm running a 12" RF Punch II. I have a couple of high end Kenwood 12" s chillin in my room waiting for the 4x4 but I just picked up the buddy buckets and have no idea what to do now... There is a lot more room under the benchs than the buckets lol.

Re: Buddy Buckets+Subs???
Is the "Buddy Buckets" like a 60/40 type bench seat? or are they true bucket seats?

Re: Buddy Buckets+Subs???
Are you dead set on keeping the center section?

Re: Buddy Buckets+Subs???
Yeah... thats the whole point on having the buddy buckets. If they were just standard buckets and a center consel I could just eliminate the center and have a custom box built...

Re: Buddy Buckets+Subs???
If you ditched the center section, those rails look like they would provide some real nice support for a box.
Well, with the tank behind the seat, and basically a lowered bench, your options are very limited. You could try and fit a single, or twin Pioneer 8" shallow mount subs under the dash. Matched with an Arc Audio KS125.4 Mini amp to power everything will produce incredible sound. Only hard part will be figuring out the enclosure, which will probably have to be made out of fiberglass.

Re: Buddy Buckets+Subs???
I understand entirely what you mean. They are what you REALLY want, so that is what takes priority.
I would suggest relocating the tank and then two 10's or something like that, but if that isn't an option, then I'm just not sure what to do. Other than a set of custom kick panels housing some 6" subs. You MIGHT still have enough room under the seat for a shallow mount sub, but I'm honestly not sure. Is there any way that you could give me some approximate measurements of the area that is usable under the seats?
