Re: Window track install

Yo! I'm doing my '76 Camaro right now. And I'm sure it's similar.
Window down, drill out four rivets around the window crank, remove the two bolts from the secondary track, window up half way, slide the old unit out, and new in (with main and secondary tracks in place), re-attach with the four swedged threaded nuts on the new regulator and the old bolts on the secondary track. Put your door together, you're done!
Todd.

Re: Window track install

ok i started on it today. i got the main window out completly, and tryed the wing vent with no luck. and i got all the bolts undone and the crank almost out. but i got some questions. does it just come out from the top of the door where the window goes up and down? and how do i go about disconnecting the crank from the power regulator? any help?
